Senior Auditor/ Lead Accountant Position
The candidate should be:
Client service driven with excellent communication skills.
Technical in nature with the ability to make recommendations to enhance clients’ business operations.
Social and enthusiastic about marketing the firm’s services to existing and
prospective clients.
The candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Preparation of GAAP and OCBOA financial statements.
Planning, directing, and reviewing the work performed on audit and review engagements.
Preparation of business and individual tax returns.
Tax planning for businesses and individuals.
Planning, directing and reviewing work of staff accountants.
Training and mentoring of staff accountants.
Developing direct relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Marketing of firm services to existing and prospective clients.
The candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
Current Ohio CPA license.
7 – 10 years of current public accounting experience
Thorough knowledge of GAAP and experience preparing financial statements.
Experience leading audit and review engagements.
Experience preparing complex business and individual tax returns.
The ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects.
Experience directing and mentoring staff accountants.
The ability to anticipate our clients’ needs and expectations.
The ability to develop new business.
Tax Manager - Position
The candidate must possess the following experience and skills:
7-10 years of current public accounting experience.
A current Ohio CPA license.
Outstanding client-service traits.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and relationships.
Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
An aptitude to work effectively with and lead others.
A creative thinker with problem solving ability.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Research and analysis capabilities.
The ability to anticipate clients' needs and expectations.
Gift, estate and trust knowledge is beneficial.
Responsibilities:
Reviews corporate, partnership and individual tax returns.
Assists in marketing the firm's services and other business development and networking activities.
