DAWN MALONE, CPA, EA

Dawn Malone is a member of the firm's tax department where she prepares business and individual tax returns. Dawn also researches and implements process improvement projects, as well as assists with audits and reviews. She is a Certified Public Accountant and an Enrolled Agent, having earned the right to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.

She has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Morningside College in Iowa and a master's degree in education from the University of Northern Iowa.

Prior to her employment with Whalen & Company, Dawn served as vice president for investor relations for a major software company in central Ohio and managing director of the Business Retention & Expansion Initiative at The Ohio State University.
