Steve Wenzlick is a Senior Tax Specialist with Whalen & Company, CPAs. He joined the firm in the summer of 2009 and has nearly 10 years of experience in the public accounting industry. Steve has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a specialization in accounting as well as a Master of Accountancy degree with a specialization in taxation from Bowling Green State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is also a Certified Valuation Analyst. He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He uses his extensive experience in taxation and business valuations to advise his clients in a wide variety of taxation and business consulting matters. He prepares and reviews tax planning and tax preparation for individual, corporate and fiduciary clients. Steve is experienced in resolving issues with the IRS as well as state and municipal taxing authorities. He has prepared many business valuations for estate, gift and other tax purposes, marital dissolution, mergers and acquisitions and various other purposes. Prior to joining the firm, Steve was a manager of tax and valuation services at a northwest Ohio public accounting firm and spent more than nine years serving clients involved in a wide range of industries. He was also involved as a board member and officer of two Toledo area charitable organizations. In his free time, Steve enjoys watching sports, reading, and vacationing. |
