JOHN
A. BUTTERFIELD
John Butterfield is the director of business
development and marketing. He formerly served as executive director of the
Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce for 11 years. He also served in various
administrative capacities for the Worthington Schools for 24 years,
including assistant to the superintendent.
John has been recognized for his community service efforts. He is a
recipient of the Leadership for a Lifetime Award from Leadership Worthington
and received the Worthington Schools' Key Communicator Award. He has also
received civic leader honors from the Worthington Jaycees and
Dublin-Worthington Rotary Club, where he is currently a member.
He was a Sharon Township trustee for 12 years and completed a four-year term
on Worthington City Council in 2009. He is currently serving a
seven-year term as a trustee of the Worthington Libraries.
He has a bachelor's degree in English from Miami University and a
master's degree in journalism from The Ohio State University. |
