Senior Auditor

The Senior Auditor should exhibit the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related degree
  • Current CPA license or CPA eligible
  • Knowledge and understanding of rules, regulations, and code of professional conduct of AICPA
  • Proficient with preparing financial statements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete assurance engagements

Staff Accountant

Public accounting experienced preferred and this position will work in close association with senior staff and managers.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Produces accurate client deliverables prior to deadlines and within time budget
  • Determines client information needed to complete projects, requests information from clients and ensures information is received
  • Follows and understands project plans, checklists and templates to complete procedures
  • Understands basic technical concepts and applies those concepts to specific clients to complete projects
  • Prepares financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flows
  • Prepares client income tax returns and related schedules for individuals, partnerships, S-Corps and C-Corps
  • Performs self-review of work, draws conclusions and discusses with responsible staff
  • Receives client requests, communicates, and discusses with responsible staff
  • Conducts basic technical research and applies information to specific client situations
  • Obtains basic understanding of the client’s business and completes the deliverables and projects assigned to support their business

 

Tax Professional 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of current public accounting with experience in corporate partnership and individual taxation
  • Outstanding client service traits
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

 

Seasonal Tax Preparer

Desired Skills & Experience:

A great opportunity to work 3 months out of the year for a growing, local CPA firm in Worthington! We are looking for preparers of individual tax returns and/or corporate tax returns.  We are seeking tax preparers to start in early February and work through the April 15th tax season.

Requirements include 5+ years of tax experience with excellent technical ability and client service traits.
